If you’re an out-of-school youth between the ages of 16 and 24, our YouthWorks program may be a perfect fit. YouthWorks offers tutoring, alternative secondary school offerings, summer employment, paid and unpaid work experience, occupational skills training, mentorship, leadership development, supportive services, comprehensive guidance and counseling, financial literacy, entrepreneurial skills training, college prep, labor market education, and follow-up activities.
Each year, JOB1 YouthWorks serves hundreds of youth throughout the city, connecting them to services mandated by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. Our program aims to help young adults remove obstacles to employment through career advising, mentoring, and leadership development.
In-school youth between the ages of 14 and 21 can also benefit from our YouthWorks program, providing comprehensive services that cater to their unique needs and challenges.
